Formulation and Properties’ Evaluation of PVC/(Dioctyl
stituted for dioctyl phthalate plasticizer in PVC plastisol formulations, and the thermal properties of the plastigels were examined. EXPERIMENTAL Materials The PVC (Petvinil P.38/74, Mv 50,000) was used with-out further purication. Dioctyl phthalate (DOP) (Merck) (refractive index 1.4399 and density 0.993 g/cm3) was used as the plasticizer.
Performance assessment of polyvinyl chloride films
The PVC films were synthesized (as per procedure mentioned in section 2.4.1) of various compositions of the epoxidized product (ECLO) and dioctyl phthalate (DOP), as shown in Table 2. The samples were characterized based on XRD analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and mechanical properties. Table 2.
Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) - Chemical Supplier Distributor Chemceed
Dioctyl Phthalate is one of the most widely used plasticizers in PVC due to its low cost. DOP is a general-purpose plasticizer and long-time industry standard known for its good stability to heat and ultraviolet light, and broad range of compatibility for use with PVC resins. Dioctyl Phthalate can also be used as dielectric and hydraulic fluids.
ChemFlexx DOP - The Chemical Company
TCC’s ChemFlexx DOP, di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP, a.k.a. DOP) is the commercial name and abbreviation for the organic compound di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), one of the most cost effective and widely available general purpose plasticizers on the market today. This colorless viscous liquid is soluble in oil, but not in water.
Dioctyl Phthalate (DOP) Plasticizer - Fengbai Group
Dioctyl phthalate DOP, an organic ester compound, is one of the most commonly used plasticizers. DOP plasticizer is a transparent oily liquid with no visible impurities in appearance, which is insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, mineral oil, etc.
