My SteelSeries I-2 (the final Icemat they made) is 30x25 and cost me $35 in 2010. With inflation that's $47. That's 6.3 cents per square centimeter. The Skypad 3.0 XL is 50x40. Its $120. That's 6 cents per square cm. I never did the math before and I assumed the Skypad was a rip-off compared to the old icemats.
