Synergistic effect of organic plasticizer and lepidolite filler on
Herein, we report PVDF-based CPEs showing a high ionic conductivity of 0.125 mS cm 1 at room temperature and 1 mS cm 1 at 120 °C, a wide electrochemical window and marvelous fire resistance. The high ionic conductivity can be attributed to the synergistic effect of DMF plasticizer and 2D lepidolite filler.
Selecting Plasticizers for Adhesives and Sealants
Plasticizers are used in all types of adhesive and sealant formulations. They are used primarily to the final bond and to provide improved low-temperature properties. However, plasticizers can also supply additional benefits that are important to both the formulator and end-user.
Simultaneous recovery of high-purity copper and polyvinyl chloride
PVC coverings typically contain plasticizers for flexibility. As such, PVC cables become brittle after plasticizer extraction, causing them to be easily crushed by physical impact. Hence, we extracted the plasticizers from the PVC coverings of electric cables using organic solvents, and then crushed the obtained cable samples by ball milling.
Hydroseal HY: phthalate-free plasticizer for hybrid sealant
ST-PU (Silyl Terminated PolyUrethane) It can be used alone or mixed with other plasticizers HYDROSEAL HY contains no phthalate and allows the formulation of sealants and adhesives with extra low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emission answering the most stringent standards such as GEV EC 1 + level.
Plasticizers as contaminants in high-purity solvents: A potential
Cap liners were found to be a major source of plasticizer contamination of high-purity extraction solvents. Plasticizer concentrations found ranged from 0.1–5 ppm; this can produce substantial interference in biological analysis because of the rather high concentration factors obtained in the final extracts.
