Sibur to establish DOTP production facility in Russia
The Perm subsidiary of Russian petrochemicals company Sibur has signed a special investment contract with the Perm Territory government to set up a new manufacturing facility with a capacity of 100 000 tonnes per annum for the production of the general-purpose, non-phthalate plasticizer dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP).

The Sibur DOTP plant in Perm, Russia, is the largest in Europe. The 100,000-tonnes/yr DOTP production facility will not only will cover the needs of the Russian domestic market (estimated at 60,000 tonnes/year)—it will also serve export markets to Europe and other regions.
