Characterization and thermal stability of poly (vinyl
Raw materials (pure PVC and ESBO) as well as both cured PVC–ESBO plastisols and gaskets from commercial lids were analyzed. Approximately 3 mg samples were weighed in aluminium pans (40 μL) and were subjected to two heating–cooling cycles from 90 °C to 150 °C at 10 °C min 1 under nitrogen (flow rate 50 mL min 1 ).
Thermal stability of poly(vinyl chloride) with epoxidised
Epoxidised soybean oil (ESBO) has been tested as a primary plasticizer in suspension PVC. The stabilization of the material with different traditional stabilizers has been evaluated and compared to a compound with PVC–ESBO only. Surprisingly, the addition of stabilizers seems to decrease the stability of PVC–ESBO.

Mechanical and Thermal Properties of the Plasticized PVC-ESBO
The activation energies of stabilized PVC/ESBO is also influenced by dehydrorochlo- rination reaction and HCl evolution. Addition of ESBO improves thermal behaviour of PVC. The higher...
Thermal stability of poly(vinyl chloride) with epoxidised
Phthalates can be used with natural-based plasticizers, such as Epoxidized soybean oil (ESBO) known as phthalate’s scavenger and PVC stabilizers. PVC formulations were characterized by different
