- From our study of rinse-off cosmetics available in UAE markets, it can be concluded that the proportion of microplastic-containing products has decreased from 2018 (30%) to 2020 (12%), although the UAE does not yet have binding legislation that forbids microplastic in rinse-off cosmetics.
