Research progress of novel bio-based plasticizers and their
They added these prepared plasticizers to PVC as the main plasticizer and compared their plasticizing properties with epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) and dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP). Tensile properties showed that the tensile strength and elongation at break of PVC-EACO were 18.5 and 10.0% higher than PVC-DOTP, and 13.9 and 23.8% higher than PVC
ChemFlexx Epoxidized Soybean Oil (ESO) - The Chemical Company
TCC’s epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) is used as a plasticizer and stabilizer in plastic materials, especially PVC and its copolymers to keep these plastics soft and pliable. The chemical is also used as a pigment dispersing agent and acid/mercaptan scavenging agent as well as an epoxy reactive diluent.
Effect of epoxidised soybean oil loading as plasticiser on
The aim of this paper is to study the effect of epoxidised soybean oil (ESO) as an alternative plasticizer on physical, mechanical and thermal properties of plasticised polyvinyl chloride...
China Epoxy Soybean Oil Manufacturers, Suppliers, Factory
Epoxidized soybean oil, ESO for short, is a light yellow viscous oily liquid at room temperature. Non-toxic. The boiling point is 150°C (0.53 kPa). Soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons, but insoluble in water. It has excellent heat resistance, light resistance, and compatibility. It is often used as a plasticizer for PVC products.
