Synthesis and properties of castor oil based plasticizers
In this study, five types of environment-friendly material plasticizers based on castor oil were synthesized. The synthetic plasticizers were added to PVC as the main plasticizer, and the properties of these PVC blends were investigated and compared to the commercial plasticizers DOTP and ESO.

Properties of the PVC materials were investigated and compared to those of commercial plasticizers (DOP and ESO). The results showed that castor oil based polyol esters could significantly improve thermal stability of PVC blends.
