The optimal pH was determined in various buffers at pH 3.0–11.0 (20 mM citrate buffer (pH 3–6), 10 mM Na 2 HPO 4 -NaH 2 PO 4 buffer (pH 6–8), 100 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8–9), 50 mM Glycine-NaOH buffer (pH 9–11)). The pH stability was investigated by pre-incubating in buffers (pH 6.0–10.6) at 40 °C for 1 h.
