DOP Plasticizer | Eastman
Eastman DOP Plasticizer (Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate) is a light colored, low volatility, odorless liquid. It is the most widely used all-purpose plasticizer offered by Eastman for use with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is insoluble in water and has a viscosity of 56 cP at 25°C.
DOA Plasticizer | Eastman
It can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers, such as DOP or DOTP. In PVC, Eastman DOA features flexibility at low temperatures, good electrical properties, good resistance to weathering, and good stability to heat. Eastman DOA is used to produce clear films for food packaging applications.
Eastman 168 non-phthalate plasticizer
Eastman 168non-phthalate plasticizer Is an excellent general-purpose plasticizer for flexible PVC (polyvinyl chloride). It is compatible with PVC and PVC/VA copolymer resins and offers performance equal to or better than other general-purpose plasticizers. Typical properties are listed in Table 1.
Plasticizers: Types, Uses, Classification, Selection & Regulation
It is almost colorless and odorless oily liquid. It is very slightly soluble in water but soluble in alcohols, hexane etc. while miscible and compatible with all the monomeric plasticizers used in PVC compounding. Melting point: 43°C (45°F; 230 K) Boiling point: 244-252°C at 0.7 kPa.

- What is Eastman DOP plasticizer?
- Home ... Eastman™ DOP Plasticizer (Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) Phthalate) is a light colored, low volatility, odorless liquid. It is the most widely used all-purpose plasticizer offered by Eastman™ for use with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is insoluble in water and has a viscosity of 56 cP at 25°C.
- Does Eastman 168Tm non-Phthalate plasticizer have a low viscosity?
- Brookfield (low-shear) and Severs (high-shear) viscosities were measured. The Brookfield viscosities were measured over a 3-week period (Figure 3). As shown, Eastman 168TM non-phthalate plasticizer imparts lower viscosity than the other general-purpose plasticizers. Excellent viscosity stability is achieved when using Eastman 168, DINP, and 711P.
- What is Eastman DOP?
- It is the most widely used all-purpose plasticizer offered by Eastman™ for use with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins. It is insoluble in water and has a viscosity of 56 cP at 25°C. Eastman™ DOP features good stability to heat and ultraviolet light, a broad range of compatibility, and excellent resistance to hydrolysis.
- What is Eastman DOA plasticizer?
- Home ... Eastman™ DOA plasticizer (Bis (2-Ethylhexyl) Adipate) is a light colored, oily liquid generally used as a plasticizer for PVC. It can be used alone or blended with other plasticizers, such as DOP or DOTP.
