Green dop wax - 1lb - Hi-Tech Diamond
Hi-Tech Diamond green dop wax is used for securing stones to dop sticks to ease the cabbing process. This specially formulated wax heats quickly and provides excellent adhesion for general lapidary use. The wax softens at around 150°F (66°C) and comes in four 1/4 lb sticks to a box. We recommend using this green dop wax with the DopStation.

Hot dop wax needs a hot stone to adhere well. It takes about 20 minutes for the dop pot to heat the wax to the correct temperature and one minute to heat the stones around its edge. Select an adequate amount of wax for the cab you are dopping and shape the wax with a knife or you fingers to remove ridges of smooth uneven areas.
