Plasticizers for the PVC industry are now also available
With Hexamoll DINCH Ccycled TM, BASF additionally launched its trusted non-phthalate plasticizer based on chemically recycled feedstock. In the manufacturing process, BASF uses pyrolysis oil obtained from previously non-recycled plastic waste instead of fossil resources at the beginning of the value chain.
Hexamoll DINCH

Metabolism of the plasticizer and phthalate substitute
Abstract Hexamoll DINCH (diisononyl-cyclohexane-1, 2-dicarboxylate) is a new high-molecular-weight plasticizer and a phthalate substitute. In this study, the metabolism of DINCH was investigated by oral dosage of three male vol-unteers with approximately 50 mg Hexamoll DINCH (resultingin individualdosesbetween0.552 and0.606 mg/kg body weight).
