Galata offers a series of primary plasticizers manufactured from renewable feedstocks: Drapex Alpha. In comparison to various conventional plasticizers, Drapex Alpha demonstrates high efficiency, low extractability, enhanced processability, and low volatility all while being cost competitive.
Drapex Alpha 200 by Galata Chemicals (Artek): Technical
Plasticized PVC compound shows substantially improved extraction, excellent low temperature flexibility, UV light stability, reduced amount of volatile organic compounds, enhanced process ability and exceptionally long decomposition time (by Congo Red method). Main applications include shoes, GP pigmented and filled, wall covering and flooring.

Highly efficient and bio-based primary plasticizer. It is cost competitive relative to conventional plasticizers and an excellent source of renewable carbon. Offers excellent performance characteristics and it is also readily miscible with conventional plasticizers.
