Hexamoll DINCH
Hexamoll DINCH is a colorless, clear and practically anhydrous liquid with a hardly noticeable odor. It is soluble in the usual organic solvents and is miscible and compatible with all of the monomeric plasticizers commonly used in PVC. Hexamoll DINCH is almost insoluble in water.
Plasticizers for the PVC industry are now also available
With Hexamoll DINCH Ccycled TM, BASF additionally launched its trusted non-phthalate plasticizer based on chemically recycled feedstock. In the manufacturing process, BASF uses pyrolysis oil obtained from previously non-recycled plastic waste instead of fossil resources at the beginning of the value chain.

Plasticizers America Products Plasticizer Product Portfolio There has been a need for plasticizers ever since PVC (polyvinylchloride) was patented in 1913. In its unmodified state, PVC is rigid and brittle. Plasticizers are used to make the material soft and flexible.
Health, Eco Concerns Give Non-Phthalate Plasticizers a Push
BASF launched Hexamoll DINCH in 2002. Thanks to its excellent toxicological profile and low migration rate, this additive has become an established plasticizer in PVC food packaging, medical devices, and toys. More recently, BASF reports that demand has also increased in floor and wall coverings as well as fitness equipment.
