Plasticizers for the PVC industry are now also available
With Hexamoll DINCH Ccycled TM, BASF additionally launched its trusted non-phthalate plasticizer based on chemically recycled feedstock. In the manufacturing process, BASF uses pyrolysis oil obtained from previously non-recycled plastic waste instead of fossil resources at the beginning of the value chain.

Health, Eco Concerns Give Non-Phthalate Plasticizers a Push
DOTP and Hexamoll DINCH are two leading non-phthalate alternatives gaining significant ground. DOTP from Eastman has been available for several decades as Eastman 168, and the company claims it is the market-leading non-phthalate plasticizer for PVC, offering performance equal to or better than most non-phthalates.
Plasticizer product range for a sustainable business
Hexamoll DINCH has become a market standard. This is supported by outstanding production capabilities. The commissioning of BASF’s second Hexamoll DINCH plant has increased our capacity to 200,000 tons, strengthening even further the delivery reliability of our non-phthalate plasticizer.
