Hyper-plasticizer dosed concrete pavers containing fly ash
A hyper-plasticizer was used in concrete pavers with high volumes of fly ash (FA). More than 400 kg/m 3 of FA was incorporated in the concrete. A workable concrete was obtained for 100% replacement of sand with FA. The mix exhibited improved physio-mechanical and durability properties.
Hyper & Super Plasticizer For Tiles & Paver Plants - Flyash
Tiles and Paver Hyper Plasticizer - DEN –TE-60 is a new generation Polycarboxylate based modified concrete hyper plasticizer developed for using in Paver & Tile plants or any Precast Industries. This has high plasticizing effect and acts as a high range water reducer for concrete.
ISMSIT2017 - ResearchGate
Three mortars were re-prepared with using both super and hyper-plasticizer confirming to ASTM C494 by 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75% of cement weight. Spread diameters and setting times of super and hyper

- What is a hyper-plasticizer?
- Hyper-plasticizers are high range superplasticizers that are based on modified polycarboxylic ether. As reported by the manufacturer, the adopted hyper-plasticizer was dosed with single bonded polyethylene glycol (PEG) that offer enhanced strength properties to concrete mix containing higher volumes of mineral additives such as slag and FA etc.
- What is a superplasticizer in concrete?
- Superplasticizers allow a 30% or more reduction in water content. It is chemical admixtures that are added to the concrete to improve their flowing ability, they help to reduce the amount of water in the concrete and to improve the strength and durability of concretes. They achieve a reduction in water content without loss of workability.
- Can fly ash be used in M40 grade concrete pavers?
- This work was aimed at exploring the possibility of utilizing fly ash (FA) in lieu of fine aggregates in M40 grade concrete pavers. The concrete trial mixes were dosed with a hyper-plasticizer. The said hyper-plasticizer had a very high solid content of more than 60%. Multiple trials were undertaken by varying the replacement of river sand with FA.
- What is a superplasticizer?
- Superplasticizer is chemical admixtures added to the concrete to improve their flowing ability also known as high range water reducers.
- What is a high-performance superplasticizer?
- A high-performance superplasticizer can be prepared by using bio-polymer chitosan as a raw material by chemical performance. This greatly improves the strength of high strength concrete with the presence of silica fume. Hello, I'm Rahul Patil founder of Constructionor.com, I had studied B.E. Civil.
- Can sand be substituted with a hyper-plasticizer?
- The concrete trial mixes were dosed with a hyper-plasticizer. The said hyper-plasticizer had a very high solid content of more than 60%. Multiple trials were undertaken by varying the replacement of river sand with FA. The replacement was done at 0, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Based on this study, the following conclusions can be drawn:
