Sibur begins commissioning 100 000 tonnes/year DOTP facility
Russian petrochemicals major Sibur reports that the construction of its 100 000 tonnes/year facility for the production of general-purpose, non-phthalate plasticizer dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) in Perm is 100% complete on schedule [ ADPO, August 2017 and February 2018].

Production of DOTP at the site will use feedstock provided by Sibur and is scheduled to start in 2025. ‘After commissioning, our offering for construction segment customers will include advanced solutions conforming to European standards’, reports Sibur's chief operating officer Mikhail Karisalov.
